There’s no limit to how many people you can refer, but there is a limit to how many bonuses you can earn. For the Invest Bonus, you can earn up to 10 referral bonuses per year (up to $750). For the APY Boost, you can earn up to two boosts total (3 months each, up to 6 months maximum). 

APY Boost requirements: Your connection must open a new High-Yield Cash Account using your unique referral link and deposit at least $1,000. That money can be deposited anywhere on the platform (High-Yield Cash Account, brokerage account, etc.) to qualify.  

Invest Bonus requirements: Your connection must open an investment account on BIT TREASURY LTD using your unique referral link and deposit at least $10,000. That money can be deposited anywhere on the platform (High-Yield Cash Account, brokerage account, etc.) to qualify.

  • You must have a funded BIT TREASURY LTD brokerage account.    
  • You must send your Referral Link to a friend who has never been an BIT TREASURY LTD customer. 
  • Your friend must use your Referral Link to sign up for a new BIT TREASURY LTD brokerage or retirement account.    
  • In order for you and your friend to receive the $75 referral bonus, your friend must: 
    • (i) be approved to open an BIT TREASURY LTD brokerage or retirement account; and 
    • (ii) deposit at least the Account Opening Minimum Amount2 into a brokerage or a retirement account within thirty (30) calendar days of their New User Sign- up Date+ ; and 
    • (iii) maintain their initial funding amount of at least the Account Opening Minimum Amount2 in their account for an additional 30 calendar days after such funding.

1Important Terms and Conditions  

Bonus: $75 cash for both you and your friend 

You will receive a $75 referral bonus in your Payment Account3 within 14 business days of your friend successfully opening and funding an BIT TREASURY LTD account (brokerage or retirement) using your unique Referral Link within 30 days of New User Sign-up Date with such funding of at least the Account Opening Minimum Amount2 maintained in the account for 30 calendar days thereafter. Your friend will also receive their $75 referral bonus in their Payment Account within 14 business days of successfully opening and funding an BIT TREASURY LTD account (brokerage or retirement) using your unique Referral Link within 30 days of New User Sign-up Date with such funding of at least the Account Opening Minimum Amount2 maintained in the account for 30 calendar days thereafter. Any bonus money to be paid to you and your friend can only be paid into an open Payment Account3 (non- retirement). 

The $75 referral bonus can be found under Settings>Promotions. Referral bonuses are each considered miscellaneous income and may be reportable to the IRS on Form 1099-MISC (or Form 1042-S, if applicable). 

Once credited, you will see a $75 Promotional Credit in Activity. 

Any bonus money paid to you and/or your friend must remain within your/their BIT TREASURY LTD account for a holding period of 90-days subsequent receipt of bonus payment. Bonus money may be invested or held in cash, but cannot be withdrawn or transferred externally during the 90-day holding period. In the event of any withdrawal or external transfer request of the bonus money during the 90-day holding period, you hereby relinquish the bonus payment prior to assets being transferred.  

Referral Bonus limits per year: You, as the referrer sending your Referral Link, can earn a cumulative of ten (10) referral bonuses within any calendar year under these referral programs. Any use of your Referral Link thereafter will not be restricted, however, no promotional payment will be paid to you. BIT TREASURY LTD reserves the right to, at any time, limit or change the maximum number of times a Referral Link can be used without prior notice. 

+“New User Sign-up Date” shall mean the first day you (or your friend) submit(s) a valid email and password to create a user login at BIT TREASURY LTD. 

2Account Opening Minimum Amount  

Account Type:

  • Individual – $10,000 
  • Joint – $10,000 
  • Custodial – $10,000 
  • Trust – $10,000 
  • Retirement (Traditional, Roth, or SEP IRA) – $10,000  

3Payment Accounts  

Referrals and other promotional credits are deposited into your designated “Payment Account”. A Payment Account must be an individual or joint brokerage account (funding not required). A Payment Account cannot be a retirement account. Both you and anyone you refer will be required to have a Payment Account to receive the referral bonus. It is solely your and your friend’s responsibility to open a valid Payment Account, and without a valid Payment Account, you will not be able to receive referral bonuses. 

If you have more than one taxable account, you can change the Payment Account at any time from Settings>Payment.  

Additional Information, Terms and Exclusions:

This referral offer is valid only for new BIT TREASURY LTD account users during the Promotion Period (the “BIT TREASURY LTD Referral Program”). Please send your unique Referral Link only to people who you know personally and who will be glad to get it. To qualify for the $75 BIT TREASURY LTD Invest referral bonus, referred family and friends must sign up during the Promotion Period (e.g., no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on the last day of the Promotion Period), be approved to open an BIT TREASURY LTD brokerage or retirement account (in BIT TREASURY LTD’s sole discretion), and make an initial deposit of at least the minimum required amount into a brokerage or retirement account (“Account Opening Minimum Amount”)2 within 30 calendar days of New User Sign-up Date and maintain such funding amount for 30 calendar days thereafter.    

Exclusions:

If you are a member of another FINRA member firm or an employee of BIT TREASURY LTD and its affiliates, you are ineligible from receiving any monetary bonus for referrals to BIT TREASURY LTD.

BIT TREASURY LTD’s marketing Affiliates are neither eligible to participate in this Referral Program, to use Referral Links, nor receive referral payouts (including but not limited to, from use on public platforms). New users who sign up via affiliate links (e.g., via social media) are not eligible to receive the referral bonus offered under this promotion. However, such users will remain eligible for any other promotions or offers extended to new clients by BIT TREASURY LTD Finance, including but not limited to deposit promotions. 

This promotion is not valid with any other offers and is non-transferrable. BIT TREASURY LTD Referral Program offer available only to consumers 18 years or older who are U.S. citizens or certain eligible legal U.S. Residents.   • Your friend must be approved to open an BIT TREASURY LTD High-Yield Cash Account 
  • Your friend must successfully fund their BIT TREASURY LTD account with at least $1,000 in aggregate within 30 calendar days from New-User Signup Date (see below)

*Important Terms and Conditions

If the conditions of this Promotion are satisfied, you will be eligible to receive an APY1,2 Promotional Boost (defined below) on your BIT TREASURY LTD High-Yield Cash Account(s) (“Cash Account”) and your BIT TREASURY LTD High-Yield Savings Account (“HYSA”). However, your friend is only permitted to receive any APY Promotional Boost on their new Cash Account(s), as BIT TREASURY LTD does not offer new HYSA accounts at this time. Furthermore, you and your friend will receive a one-time 0.50% APY increase over the then-applicable standard APY12 (a “APY Promotional Boost”) on the aggregate balance of your respective Cash Account(s), and your HYSA (if applicable), for up to three (3) months, only if your friend (i) explicitly uses your unique ‘Earn’ referral link to open a new BIT TREASURY LTD account, (ii) successfully opens a Cash Account, and (iii) funds their BIT TREASURY LTD account within thirty (30) calendar days of New-User Signup Date with at least $1,000 in aggregate on the BIT TREASURY LTD Platform (“Minimum Amount”). “New-User Signup Date” means the date your friend has successfully submitted a valid email and password to create an BIT TREASURY LTD user login. You and your friend will receive the APY Promotional Boost within 24 hours following the first day on which your friend funds their BIT TREASURY LTD account (e.g., Cash Account) with the Minimum Amount, with such APY Promotional Boost valid for a period of three (3) months from such Minimum Amount funding date (the “Boost Reward Period”).  The APY Promotional Boost applies only to your Cash Accounts and/or HYSA, in aggregate, within your BIT TREASURY LTD account (up to 4 individual, and 1 joint** Cash Account). The APY Promotional Boost applies only to your friend’s Cash Accounts, in aggregate within their account (up to 4 individual, and 1 joint** Cash Account). In addition to the then-standard APY, the APY Promotional Boost will accrue daily on funds within the applicable Cash Account (or HYSA), and any interest earned will be paid into the applicable Cash Account/HYSA on or around the end of each eligible calendar month. Interest accrued as a result of the APY Promotional Boost may not be separately identified within the applicable account, and payment of such accrued interest may occur in a single transaction. 

The APY Promotional Boost during the Boost Reward Period cannot be paused or extended for any reason whatsoever. If, during your Boost Reward Period, you close your Cash Account/HYSA at any time, or transfer all funds out of your Cash Account/HYSA, you will forfeit the remainder of your APY Promotional Boost on such closure or transfer date. If, during your friend’s Boost Reward Period, your friend no longer maintains the Minimum Balance or closes their Cash Account at any time, your friend will forfeit the remainder of their APY Promotional Boost on such date. During the applicable Boost Reward Period, the total amount you/your friend can earn through the Promotion will vary based on any changes to the total balance in the applicable Cash Account/HYSA and/or any changes to either the standard APY or APY Promotional Boost rates (or both) for Cash Accounts/HYSA. BIT TREASURY LTD may, in its sole discretion, change the APY standard and/or the APY Promotional Boost rates at any time, during the Promotion or otherwise, without notice to you.  

** Joint Cash Accounts are eligible for this Promotion only if the previously mentioned criteria is successfully met. In addition, a joint Cash Account must have at least one (1) eligible client under this Promotion, but any joint Cash Account is permitted only to have a single APY Promotional Boost applied at any time. Any eligible client may earn the APY Promotional Boost one (1) time on both their joint and individual Cash Accounts, respectively. Conversely, an eligible client that is earning the APY Promotional Boost solely based on having a joint Cash Account with another eligible client, where such client has already satisfied these applicable Promotion requirements, will not be eligible to earn the APY Promotional Boost on any of their individual accounts (existing or otherwise).  

As the referrer for this Promotion, You are only permitted to receive up to two (2) APY Promotional Boosts on either your HYSA or Cash Account (or both, if applicable), and only if the above-mentioned conditions have been met by two different friends with separate accounts. In the event you are eligible for two (2) APY Promotion Boosts, each boost will apply sequentially (e.g., 0.50% for 3 month period, and then another 0.50% for the subsequent 3 month period). After two successful referrals, your unique referral code may still be shared with other friends, but you are prohibited from receiving any additional APY Promotional Boosts. 

BIT TREASURY LTD reserves the right to modify or terminate this Promotion at any time without notice. BIT TREASURY LTD has no obligation to open a Cash Account for any particular person, regardless of that person’s participation in any promotional program, and may accept or reject an application in its sole discretion. All eligibility decisions shall be made by BIT TREASURY LTD in its sole discretion. Without limiting the foregoing, BIT TREASURY LTD shall have sole discretion to determine whether to disqualify any person from receiving an APY Promotional Boost or otherwise participating in the Promotion for any reason, including but not limited to, if BIT TREASURY LTD determines, in its sole discretion, that fraudulent activity or a violation of the terms of this Promotion, BIT TREASURY LTD Terms of Use, and/or any applicable account agreement may have occurred, or if inaccurate or incomplete information was provided in opening the account. BIT TREASURY LTD is not responsible for incorrect entry or other failure on the part of your referees to meet the requirements herein.
